The Voice - Back In Time

“This years Voice Production will have a fantastic new theme which will more than appeal to the audience. Musical Director Laura McLaughlin has set all students the challenge of singing a song from the 40s, 50s or 60s. The production will also feature costumes from the period and hairstyles to match. The Voice is not all about being a great singer, but having the courage to give it a go. There will be some very talented singers on show, and no doubt some knee-trembling nerves too.”

Claire McEvoy

(Trainee Plastersine Teacher, Aged 17)

“Joining The Plastersine Academy has given me experiences and opportunities I couldn’t have dreamed of. Over the past year, not only have I been able to develop my performance technique, but I’ve had the chance to develop vital skills, such as communication and teamwork, whilst having a great laugh. Being invited onto the teaching team was an honor, but it also seemed like a really natural transition to make, and I’m definitely looking forward to the new challenges it will present!”

“Plastersine is like another family. It is a friendly environment, where you can be yourself and learn lots of skills for the future. My performance level continues to improve and recently I have been rewarded with the chance to perform on Waterloo Road and Hollyoaks.”
